The Mod Squad
David is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin where he received a Bachelor of Science in General and Comparative Studies and a Bachelor of Architecture. He also pursued his interests in drawing and painting for several years at the Glassell School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
His career spans numerous disciplines including architecture, project management, construction management and real estate development. He is an experienced collaborator as both a design professional and as a client. His projects have varied both in scope and scale: from the analytical - Harris County Master Plan for Parks, Recreation and Open Space, to the programmatically complex HISD Westside High School, to the highly personal Cave Lane House.
In 2003 he established David H. Lidsky Architect PLLC. He currently holds a license in Texas and Vermont.
He has previously served on the board of the Texas Center for Adolescent Rehabilitation and Education, and is currently a contributing photographer for the New York City Audubon Bird Safe Design Alternatives project.
